Suggest you go to the Gen1 Section. Stock Problems/Issues is a good place to start looking if you car has any glitches. The the Modifications folder has subfolders for electrical, interior, drivetrain etc. There are like 80,000 threads in there for you model of Mini.

And, welcome to NAM. There is an immense amount of information here between the threads, the members and the vendors.

 

Welcome. Something I've found, is that Google is much more powerful and intuitive than the board's search function.... and you're most likely to get results from NAM anyway!!! Have fun hooning about in your new (to you) motorcar!!
