New owner 07 S

Picking up a 07 S at the end of the week. Long time car guy mainly Mopar and Nissan can't go wrong with an elephant and and a Fairlady lol. So I know turbos
I'm thinking the forge rec valve and some aftermarket down pipe? Or go with upgraded hoses I.E. delete the noise maker and change the rest of the hoses. Which wil give me the best bang for the buck.

Welcome to NAM! Good luck with the purchase of your R56. Forge is a great band and they make quality parts. Best bang for your buck mod will be a rear sway bar. I always like to start from the ground up - suspension/brakes and then engine mods. If you have any questions or want to talk shop I'm just a PM away.

You said rear sway bar upgrade? Bigger size 22mm or just poly bushings?

I went with the ALTA 19mm adjustable rear sway bar. Came with everything needed, including bushings and great instructions. You do have to drop the rear subframe a bit to do the install, but it was well worth the effort, IMHO. I did the job in my driveway, with a floor jack and 2 jackstands. I started off on the softest setting, felt great, big improvement. Much less understeer. Recently stepped up to the middle setting. Even better! If you are into handling, the rear sway bar is a great first mod.

Bigger size bar and they come with poly bushings. I started with 22mm and then moved up, but that's because I track often. Whiteline has a nice in between bar that is 20mm that you could go with. I recommend Whiteline because I have been running their bars and pretty much everything they make for my track car for years. I really believe in their products. I can shoot you a PM with some stuff if you're interested. Just let me know.
