Took the plunge

Hi, Charles here. Just bought an 07 MCs. Had a mid life crisis. I'm sure I'll need help soon with something smoking! My main passion is archery, so anyone in jax., Fl. who wants to trade lessons for mini knowledge let me know!

Congrats and welcome to NAM! Please feel free to ask any and all questions. Where's the smoking coming: tailpipe, engine compartment, inside?

Drive Hard. Drive Safe. Keep Grinning.

I think I have a turbo leak. If I drive it hard I get white smoke off cat. May have to replace with new and full exhaust one day, oh darn! Going to have dealer do a whole car check soon to see what I have going on. Thx.

I'd recommend having an inspection done by either a reputable MINI dealer or MINI-specific shop.

Should be about 1 hour of labor - $140ish or so. That way you at least have an idea of what's going on with your car.
