Hello! My name is Eric, I'm from Naperville, Illinois, and I just bought my first car, a 2007 Cooper S, a few months ago. My mom has a 2011 Counrtyman S, and that is the main reason why I got it. It has 84,000 miles, and the previous owner installed a K&N cold air intake. So far, I'm loving it, but there are a few issues with it that I've been having/things I need to do to it soon. I'll probably put these in separate posts as well, but I might as well put them here too.
- It has a steering column lock light that is on constantly, even though I'm pretty sure there's no issue with it
- Previous owner painted the chrome trim black with rustoleum (very poorly I may add) and I want to remove that without damaging the chrome underneath
- I need to get new tires since it has summers on it currently (has plus zeros, considering plus ones)

Thats going to take some work and paint thinner, and they might have sanded the chrome to stick the paint. Give it a shot. Worst you would have to replace them
