Our family just joined the Mini family! My wife's previous car toasted it's CVT transmission, and she has always wanted a Mini. So with the help of this forum's great info, I found her the perfect little commuter car... a 2012 R56 MCS with a 6 speed. Includes most of the bells and whistles (Nav, Comfort access, connectivity group, etc).

The only problem is, I like the car so much I just may steal it away from her!

I bought my wife one because her van gets 11mpg and my jeep gets 14mpg. Now I'm driving the mini most days because I do a lot more miles than her.

 

Funny how that works! You bought it for wife and now you drive it! You may have to buy another, to keep the peace!
