Married into the Mini world

Hey yall. I just got married 2.5 months ago and I got not only a wife but also a 2009 R56 Mini Cooper (base). It has about 97500 miles on it, and, in addition to the car, I also got a list of overdue maintenance tasks.

Instead of paying the mechanic several hundred dollars to do these things, I decided to spend hours and hours online to learn how to fix it myself. This forum has been very helpful, thank you!

Welcome to NAM! Congratulations to being a newly wed and picking up an R56 as well! NAM has a lot of great DIY's that can help you. We also have some great articles on our site under MINI > tech info (tab at top) > R56 articles. If you have any questions or need any help/parts for while you tackle these maintenance items please do not hesitate to give me a shout! Post some pictures of your R56 up for us when you can.
