Hey everyone! Long time reader, first time sign up. I'm 29 and I live in Columbus, Ohio.

I bought my 2007 R56 in 2013. It's by far my favorite car that I've driven. Granted it's a pain to work on and isn't the best built thing on 4 wheels, but it's mine and I enjoy it. I just cleared 81k today. I need to jump on a timing chain at the moment, but I'm hoping that BMW extends the warranty soon with this lawsuit. In any case, I've always trusted NAM for info, and tonight I finally found something that wasn't obviously showing up in Google or forum searches, so I joined and posted, knowing full well I'd have an answer.

Question for you - did you call MINI? Is your car's timing chain still covered by the campaign?

Somehow I never knew ECS was in Ohio! I'll have to start ordering everything from you.

Wisconsin, unfortunately my car isn't covered under the old recall and the new lawsuit doesn't have the warranty extension fully in place yet. I had a tech from my local MINI dealer tell me that my car was covered and she he looked into it on his system it turned out not to be.
