New 2010 Mini Cooper Owner

Hi Everyone,

Glad to find this forum and I'm already trying to absorb as much as I can. I'll probably have many questions about my "new" 2010 mini cooper S.

Anyone from the Toronto area who can recommend a good independent shop/mechanic? I have an engine light and not really looking for the dealer experience.

Thanks and looking forward!

Welcome to the Mini forum. Lots of info available and a pretty good bunch of Mini enthusiasts on here. I can't help you with finding an indie Mini shop in Toronto, but if you're ever in the states, we have a good one close to Portland, Maine I can steer you towards.

Post up a picture of the Mini when you can. We like seeing them from all over the planet. We're nearly neighbors, but that's OK too!

I would get the schwaben scan tool for DIY first timer , its pulls all the codes up that a generic reader cant find.
