intro from dancooper

Hi, am Dan, "dancooper" -aka Dano. i am new to this forum and am trying to learn it in my spare time. My lovely wife has a 2011 countryman and I have been hesitant to tear into it, I am an aircraft Mechanic by trade and a do it your selfer, so hiring a job done is tough for me. Things have changed a lot over the years and tools like this forum are a huge help, i have used them with the motorcycles. I usually try not bother folks with matters unless i have exhausted all other avenues, but we all need advice now and again.
looking fwd to chatting with you all and thanks in advance.
Dano
