Hello everyone, I signed up 2 years ago when I got my first Mini, my '07. I signed up then so I could look around and get info when need be, but I never got involved or even did anything to my '07 other than wheels, tires and oil changes. I just drove it and enjoyed it. So now it's a couple years later, and after a few miles I decided it was time to trade it in. I got a decent deal on a brand new, well equiped no mile 2014 that was the last on the lot. The lime green accents probably didn't help, but those are gone now. Part of the deal too, was I needed another automatic in the house since my wife can't drive a manual due to bad arthritis in her feet. (Well, everywhere for that matter) I have a 600hp Supercharged Harley Davidson F150 as a "toy" which I'm kind of bored with at this point, and will be putting it up for sale this spring with the plans of stashing the funds away for a GT500. I'm a muscle car guy at heart, but the gas mileage sucks, so I choose to drive a Cooper as my daily. It's a damn fun car, with great mileage, fits the dog and has some style to boot (which is lacking with many auto manufacturers these days). But my wife said if I want a GT500, I need to swap the Mini for an auto so she has a backup she can drive in case her Grand Cherokee ever has issues. But since the F56 drives nothing like my R56, it is time now to become more active and get the new one where it needs to be. I got my new one 2 1/2 weeks ago, and already have on order some blackout pieces, JCW big brake kit, NM springs, NM 22mm rear sway, window tint apointment and some other odds and ends with much more to come. OK, enough with the novel, here's some pics!
