I'm new to the MINI scene by default. My wife and I just had a little girl about 5 months ago which spurred a trade of vehicles. I got her 05' MINI Cooper S in yellow (looks similar to the BMW Dakar) and she now gets to sport around my 02' BMW 530i. I was very hesitant at first but am completely sold at this point! All of the posts I've read about new MINI owners reads that you buy them not planning to do any mods and end up draining the bank the following week.


I don't foresee any mods in the coming year but will definitely do an upgraded pulley, intake and probably exhaust.

 

Welcome and congrats . Moding your MINI can be an addiction.

Dont forget to post up. LY , liquid yellow is a tad more yellow that dakar yellow. Came from the BMW side also , so I know.

Welcome to NAM! Very nice color choice. Our R53 is yellow as well. Sounds like you've got a good grasp on what you want to do and if you ever need anything for your R53 or E39 be sure to let me know!
