Hello,I am Audrey and have a 2015 Mini Cooper and love it.Bought it new 2 monthes ago and had one thing installed so far.I am paraylized from the waist down and had hand controls installed.It does not hold me back driving it,never let bad things in life hold me back.

Thanks and I was in an abusive relationship which my abusive ex husband shot me in the back,bullet hit my spinal cord which the bad news was I am paralyzed from waist down.Getting in my Mini Cooper driving it helps me move on.Plus my service dog Maddie whom I got last weekend likes it,she is a black lab and lays on the back seat.

 

Really hate to hear that Audrey! Glad that the situation didn't turn out even worse than it did. Happy to hear driving your MINI gives you an escape! You and Maddie will have many happy miles in your MINI!

 

Man, that's a terrible story, but I'm glad you're not letting it slow you down. Which control system do you have? I've driven one: well known MINIac Ishmael L. is para and has a highly modified Clubbie with hand controls. The system is really cool and quite easy to drive quickly and smoothly. Not sure if he comes on here anymore, but he's on FB. If you like our Page, you'll see him there with his sweet Clubman.
