First mini!

Just bought my first mini!!! its a 2003 Mini S 6 speed with 90k. excellent condition. came with a magnaflow exhaust not too loud. only issue is the sunroof doesnt open. when i hit the button motor makes a grinding/clicking noise like its off the track or something? any suggestions to fixing it? also looking for suggestions on what i should do for maintenance now. later down the road i plan on tinting the windows. doing a intake, coil overs and these rims maybe a slightly louder exhaust. I want to start going to the euro shows around my area. does anyone know the stock rims ET ?

Welcome. Basic maintenance is the best policy. Check all fluids and change as necessary.

Get them in gold and they would pass as vintage Ferrari design ...

Good looking car.

Motor on!

Hello and welcome, Sounds like the sunroof cables might have snapped or the sunroof motor might be grind-ed the cables. You have to pull the motor off to see whats going on.

Here are the stock wheel sizes and ET:

Welcome to NAM! 3SDM wheels are a great choice! I'm a fan of their newest release, the .04's! If you ever need any help with your Mini that you cannot find in our DIY Tech Articles, please let us know. We have a great amount of OEM and aftermarket parts in our parts catalog as well that may help you decide what to do next with your new Mini. Cheers.
