I am planning on getting a Clubman S , after reading through several forums , I have decided on a 2012 or newer with the new motor , and I will go through a dealer to get the extended warranty . I would like to get a fully loaded one , are there any options that I should forgo ? And what mods can be done with out voiding the warranty ?

The options that seem to most often get the thumbs-down are the automatic transmission and the sunroof.

As for mods, that comes down to want you want to do with the car. What will clearly void the warranty is messing with the computer programming and engine mechanicals. Something like wheels or a rear sway bar is pretty safe. Although the lawyer-types here can tell you all about the Magnuson-Moss Act, different dealers will interpret the warranty stipulations differently.
