Checking Out A F55 Tomorrow, How Does The Buying Process Work?

New member here. Going in to look at a few 4-doors tomorrow and might just order too. How does the buying process go when doing a custom order? Do you negotiate the final price before putting down the deposit?

Build car online, walk in with print out.

Start bargaining from there.

Go at the end of the month (or year) if you can. It's December in this case so it's both. They'll be trying to hit targets and deals shall be had.

As Dan said, configure what you want online first. They probably won't have exactly the same configuration at the dealer, so if they have to order one in to fit you, you will pay MSRP. But if you accept something on the lot, you could expect maybe $1000 - $2000 off MSRP.

They use the same configurator as you have access to online, so go online first and get educated.

Good luck and take pictures when you buy!

^ This, I got $1500 of my final build price. I thought it was a fair deal, given it was a custom build.

And yes, the configurator for them is the same as you, so you have an even paying field in terms of that car..

But there is still that can be bargained. "dealer prep" garbage fee, the "registration fee" garbage, and so on.

I know dealers have to make a buck, but there is no reason you can't remove, or at least HALF the cost of the "added values". The cars come well equipped, no need to pay for dealer installed stripes, undercoated, floor mats, coatings, etc...
