Just picked up my first ever Mini Cooper S model last week. Its a 2013 midnight black one that came with Orange side view mirrors. I want to change these to either carbon fiber or get primed ones and paint it to match the body. Already Im ready to start modding but worried about my wonderful extended warranty. I bought it with 8500 miles on the clock and its CPO's so I do have that 6 years/100k miles warranty and read some people stating Mini can void it if you mod. Anyone from the bay area that gets service through Stevens Creek Mini in San Jose, California? How are they towards modded Mini's?

I want to start off with suspension getting some coils and 18" wheels and also removing the orange side rear view mirrors. Any good carbon fiber replacements (not covers) that I can order? I am wondering what is underneath the orange covers on the current ones I have. I dont want to peel off and see it if im going to damage them if they dont have a good finish underneath.

Also wanting to retrofit the rear view mirror with auto dimming and homelink and found the other thread and will try that out.

Here it is. It looked different from day one. It had orange side view mirrors and orange hub caps.

Now my question is .. Black, Silver or Gun Metal RSe52's in 18" from NM Engineering?

NICE! Yeah these rims i have on now are like brand spanking new. I didnt spot one curb mark on them yet! I definately wil be selling these rims once i get new ones. I will keep you in mind!
