New to Mini land

Hi my name is Dave and I live in NW Wisconsin. I Just bought my first Mini, a 2012 R55 in British racing green with a black top, Base engine and 6-sp manual. Mainly a commuter car, but I wanted something fun to drive! Still in the process of personalizing it, adding the things I like, etc. planning on a hidden rcvr hitch in the near future for my bike rack and also pulling a small kayak trailer. It's a blast to drive and feels a lot bigger than it is. Loving it so far! Not to many of them around where I live, it attracts attention!

Hi all, bit of a belated introduction. I am in the Hamilton, Ontario area, we own between us (my wife and I) a 2003 Cooper S in British racing green with white roof, and a recently (fall last year) acquired 2005 JCW in Grey with black roof. Both are an absolute blast to drive, both 6 speed standard tranny, although the JCW is "my" car, just love to drive it, the sound of the supercharger is intoxicating, it does tend to bring out the demon in me though. (my other "car" is a 1997 GMC Suburban with the 6.5 turbo diesel - talk about polar opposites :-) )
