Proud New Owner Of WC50 #439

Hello all!

I'm the happy new owner of WC50 #439 (along with my lovely wife). We bought the car last month from its original owner (smyers528), and hope to take care of her as well as he did! And as a big F1 fan, it's an honor to drive a car that's a tribute to those World Championships by John and Charles Cooper's team (and Sir Jack Brabham driving) back in '59 and '60.

It's been a blast driving #439, and we've already had two little road trips, one down to San Luis Obispo for a Charlie Worsham concert, then Hearst Castle and up Highway 1 for some twisties, and the other up 5 to Grants Pass, Oregon, and back. What a wonderful car

So hello, NAM - we are delighted to be motoring in a JCW and look forward to doing some rallies with likeminded Mini fans!

Cheers, happy motoring, and see you on NAM,

~Matt in Sunnyvale, California

Thanks, Mr T and bat. I'd been thinking of buying a Mini for over a year and wanted to get a BRG car and do it up like the WC50, not expecting a WC50 to come up for sale right in my backyard :-) The first owner added JCW suspension, strut brace, and Pilot Super Sports - so much grip! That plus the brakes and extra grunt of the JCW make for a pretty awesome drive.

Loving the Mini driving experience so far

~m
