Very first wave!

Got a smile and friendly wave yesterday from my very first encounter with another MINI owner. Fear I'll cause an accident watching for other drivers now! But it's a great feeling to be a new MINI owner.

Thanks Mr. T.
Yesterday 4/29, home town Seal Rock Oregon, central Oregon coast. Not many MINIs but loads of friendly people :-)
Best wishes to you.

From: In the here and now, for now.
We always wave and sometimes flash the headlights to make sure they see us to wave back.
Two wave horror stories: Had to rent a car to get home from an overnight shop situation and wound up with a Jeep something or other (not impressed) and while driving home got a jeep wave. I pretended to be sharpening pencils or something.
2nd one just this afternoon. Caught a red KIA whatever out the corner of my eye, my brain said Clubman and I started to wave but was able to shut it down before making an a$$ out m'self.
Waving can get complicated.

Wish I could get a wave, so tired of feeling like an idiot. Don't these people know the code? Don't they give a seminar with every mini sale? They should!

I've gotten the wave once. ONCE! Come on people! Get with the program! The most that happens here in LA is awkward eye contact between 2 people who aren't sure how to react, so we just keep starring at one another.

And awkward eye contact is somehow better than waving, how?

I've done the same thing quite a few times If I see one of those Kia Souls out of the corner of my eye, my first thought is often Clubbie. Glad to know I'm not the only one!

I live in an area with a lot of mini's and it really is hit or miss if they wave back. I have my husband and all my friends waving when we are in the car together now. At least I do not look like an idiot by myself anymore.
