I'm really excited about joining the community and meeting people and learning about the car and fun things to do!

I just bought a 2011 JCW from SF MINI last month I giggle every time I drive it.

The kids named him Oliver after Hammond's Africa car on Top Gear. Ollie is Eclipse Grey with a Red roof and mirrors. Its a fantastic car. So happy.

I have a spot on May 9 at Thunderhill with Hooked On Driving. Anyone going? I am looking for help with a minimal setup (brake pads, camber plates, sway bar, wheels&tires?). Can you fit wheels & tires in the car? I'm guessing yes.

Over the years, I've spent a fair amount of time on the local tracks (Sonoma, Thunderhill and Laguna Seca) racing motorcycles but four-wheels is a whole new world. I'm looking forward to some real fun this summer!

Wow, nice Mini. Post some pictures of it when you get a chance. I haven't tried putting wheels in the car but i'm sure you could fit at least 2 in the backseats, maybe 4. Sounds like a fun time on those tracks. I'm over here in Fresno, wish I was closer to Laguna Seca.
