I recently traded in my Pepper White 2007 MCS for an all 4 Countryman. Nothing quite like a week after buying your car the Consumer Reports reliability reports come out and says that Mini is at the bottom of the heap. My R56 did have some problems over the years but it sure was fun to drive. I hope that my Countryman experience is as good.

 

The Consumer Reports rating for MINI overall indeed sucks. As I recall from another NAM thread, the Countryman was particularly singled out for poor reliability. But you have to know precisely what the complaints were before making any judgments. Nor does that imply you will have problems with your Countryman.
