New owner from Texas
Just bought a 2006 Mini Cooper S 6 speed convertible with only 67,000 miles on it a couple of days ago. I'm retired and have been a Harley rider for over 30 years, have enjoyed riding, but, lately my balance isn't quite what it used to be. Haven't had any issues yet, but thought I'd better quit while I was ahead (alive). Driving the Mini is the most fun I've had on 4 wheels, at least while in motion!
I live in the Hill Country of Texas and have many challenging roads I look forward to riding, er, I mean driving, with my wife of 30 years. She can't drive a stick so the Mini is all mine!
Hope to meet up with some other old fart Mini owners in the Canyon Lake area. We usually have breakfast Sunday mornings at Granny D's.

Welcome to the MINI family! I'm also retired and a longtime Harley rider, but I did downsize from an Ultra Classic to a Softail since I got tired of fighting the weight of the larger bike. Since my wife doesn't ride motorcycles, we got a MINI (originally a 2010 S Convertible, now a Roadster S) to find some great riding roads together. I know the hill country of south central Texas has some great roads, so I'm sure you'll enjoy the MINI as much as you did the Harley. BeEst wishes!
