About to join the MINI-owners club (in 5-7 weeks). Thank you to everyone in this forum who provided me with oodles of details that helped me make an informed purchase.

I'm a Subaru refugee who decided that said car maker was insane for not making a manual transmission in a premium trim. Then I went for a test-drive in the Countryman. Yeah, that sold the car. The dealer pointed out where my friend and I could go to "have some fun." Which we did. With that, they got me hook, line, and sinker. The next 5-7 weeks are going to be torture.

Ordered:
2014 Countryman All4; green body, black roof, grey headliner, black leather interior; Loaded, Cold Weather, & Technology packages (including Nav), center armrest, black 17" wheels, load-flat floor, and some random accessories.

Thanks to you folks I know to expect that the iPhone 5 shouldn't work as expected and that the drive on the run-flat tires can be jumpy. Again, thanks for all the information and I look forward to being part of the MINI community.

 

We just joined the mini club also. I have the countryman 2014. Silver with black roof, black tires, black stripe, and my husband just yesterday bought a chili red black top black stripe, black wheels hardtop. We are soooooo excited!! We love our minis!!! Started out going to buy him one but I wanted automatic and fell in love with the bigger countryman. He was set on the smaller hardtop and a manual. Soooooo we both got our way thanks to some money we came into. Life is good at the moment!!! My son said " you only live once!" That is what made us jump in. Congrats on your mini!!!!

Don't forget to post up some pics when you get the Countryman , Black wheels on the Green with black roof will look nice. I really like the black ( anthracite ) headliner personally also.
