Side window scratches

I have some scratches on the inside of the driver side window. They are shallow, but I can feel them when I run a fingernail across them. Something has been rubbing against them when the window is raised and lowered and the previous owner didn't or couldn't do anything about it. They probably aren't that noticeable to others, but they are to me. Anyone have any idea how to get rid of them or at least make them less noticeable?

Cat scratch fever perhaps? Check the gasket on both side of the glass to make sure there isn't something embedded in it causing the scratching.

I've had luck with cerium oxide polish on glass.. But it's messy.. I would not try to polish it... Generally if the scratch is felt with your nail it can't be polished out..

Having had door glass explode on me once... Due to a long deep scratch... (It was scratched... I slammed the door shut.. It exploded in my face... Lap.. Interior..).. Granted it was a car from 1976... But let's just say I never want to have that happen again..

I'd say replace it with used or new glass if it really bothers you..
