Hello, everyone! By no means am I actually new to the forums; I've been browsing for nearly two years now but never gave a formal introduction. My name is Brandin and I currently reside in TN but will be moving in about a week to attend the NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, NC. Back in February of 2011 I bought my first MINI, an R50 which I named Hugo. I had dreamed of owning one after first seeing a Chili Red R50 one in my hometown almost 8 years ago. That's when my infatuation truly started.
Without further ado, here was my first, Hugo. This is what he looked like before I traded him in.
And back in November of 2012 I found an immaculate R53 which I instantly fell in love with. It was love at first supercharger whine. This is Fenrir, my battle-worn comrade.
What I've done so far: Cravenspeed 15% reduction pulley, Alta 2% overdrive lightened crank pulley (put on at 96k miles so we'll see how it holds up), 2.5" straight-pipe exhaust, custom CAI, and a few other things but almost negligible to mention. This is my dream car, and we will continue to battle the curves until some fateful day occurs. We won't speak of that, though.
