I just bought a 2010 Mini Clubman.

Having a blast with it.

Sold a lifted Excursion 4x4 and a motorcycle and went for a change.

 

4x4's are fun, bikes are fun, this Mini is a real carnival ride the first few weeks. Very unique car, makes some folks want to race it. I have had one barely three weeks and have read a 1000 pages on this forum, good stuff, good people. Welcome.

 

Been two weeks. Already bought a few things for it. Previous owner added some mods. It came with the HK audio (good thing ..it's loud). My wife drives a Prius and it's like being deaf by comparison. But I like the sound way better than the silence. :-)

Only one issue I've come across. I bought the mfg combo cable (USB + Phono jack) but it terminates in an iPhone 30pin connecter. It works fine for both data and charging and the dash display indicates it has an iPod connected.
However I much prefer to use my Tekkeon battery case and it takes a micro USB cable. The issue is I have yet to find an adapter cable that has a female 30pin on one end and micro USB on the other that supports *both* data and charging so that the dash display indicates an iPod is connected.

Let e know if you have heard of anything that really works.
