New owner in San Jose!
Hey guys! Just bought a 2003 R53, in British Racing Green, 6-speed, with white roof/stripes. Bone stock except for a beautiful Borla full cat-back exhaust! Sounds like a beast, but not obnoxious, and goes like the wind.
The exhaust tips looks nice now, but when I bought the car (yesterday), they were all grimed up. The insides were so black with soot it looked like the depths of outer space. After a little Kleen King metal cleaner from under the kitchen sink and some Nevr-Dull, they don't look perfect, but I'm happy (see pic).
Anyone know of good clubs here in the south bay? I will go troll the club forum later but was wondering if any of you welcomers knew right off the bat.
That's about it for now... can't wait to rub off on all the MINI goodness around here! :D
