Just ordered my first Mini ('13 JCW Coupe), and wanted to say thanks for the site. I've been lurking here for a while now and it's been quite helpful for a Mini newb.

 

Welcome to NAM and congrats on your new MINI. Tell us a little about the specifics.

 

Well let's see. It's a '13 JCW Coupe, Chili Red with a black top. I sprang for the Xenons, black headlamp housings, and Recaro seats, too. First new vehicle I've bought in a decade so I figured why not, hehe.

Always loved the shape of the MINI, and from what I've read here I'm going to love driving it too.

Pretty ragtop you got there, btw. I'd love to add one of those to the garage one of these days.

 

I'm sure you'll be quite happy with the Xenon headlights. They are incredibly bright. The back housings are a great addition and will compliment the black top and wheel trim nicely. I don't know what to think about the Recaro seat though. I know they have their reputation but I'm not sure that the styling fits the MINI. The seats are a personal choice and you have to be comfortable driving the car.

Thanks for the compliment on my Roadster. I've owned a lot of great vehicles in my day, and this is the first I absolutely love to drive.
