Mini Newb doing research to buy a used S
Hi all
Just a quick intro. I found this forum, and it looks like a great resource to get up to speed on all thing Mini. I'm beginning a hunt to find a good used 1st gen Mini Cooper S for a third family car. My car is a 2013 VW GTI, and my wife is stuck driving our big Dodge 2500 Cummins. She needs a fun, sporty commuter, and a Mini seems to fit the bill perfectly.
Before blindly diving into a used purchase, I want to research typical issues and problems to watch out for. Don't worry, I'll read the stickies, and use the search button
Hopefully, I'll be posting back with a nice find and will join your community in-earnest as Mini owner.
