Greetings from Monterey!

Hello NAM! I am the proud owner of a 2004 R53 Cooper S, and am lucky enough as a 17 yr old for it to be my first car. Even though I am slightly discouraged by CA's CARB laws

I shall overcome this barrier and enjoy, upgrade, and care for my mini

. Hopefully I'll find much needed info on this forum.

Welcome to NAM, and congrats on your first car!

We have many MINIacs in CA who are familiar with the smog laws and what aftermarket mods will pass the required inspections. Just peruse the First Gen forums and search liberally. If all else fails, post away with your questions!
