Does Mini still send out 'care packages' to new Mini owners....as they did in the past?

 

i got one several months after delivery of my 2012 cms all4 on 3/31/2012

Took delivery 10/23/12 and got mine yesterday.

 

What is in the packages these days?

 

Got my package today. Basically a note pad, pen with Mini logo, a little flash drive in the shape of a Mini, a rubber dice, and literature. Nothing exciting.

 

Admit it. The rubber dice are kind of cool.

 

My dealer gave me a care package when I picked up my vehicle. She gave me a set of rubber mats, a coffee mug, a travel mug, the Y chord for my iPhone, two key chains and a bottle of oil with a canvas case to keep in the boot. I was pretty impressed. It's a nice gesture.

 

now that is a good care package!

 

They must have just started sending them out again, we just got ours today. We didn't get one with last years purchase, they seem to have stopped sending them.

The package is amusing. The mailing envelope converts into a backpack when you turn it inside out, its cloth.

The thumbdrive in the shape of the MINI is bouncy rubber. Though the one file on it redirects your broswer to the wrong USL. It directs you to HTTP://WWW.MINIUSA.COM/MYNEWMINI but that really should be http://www.miniusa.com/mynewmini its case sensitive.

In the literature is a sticky plaque you can write the MINI's name on and put it in the door jamb among all the other official stickers.

There was also a "MINI International" magazine, and an invitation to a performance driving course at Indianapolis. http://www.bemilesahead.net

The Die in our package was foam, its an antenna topper.


Those are what's different from the previous four care packages we got.

 

Same here, took delivery in June. '13.

Nice to come home to, fun stuff.. ( yea I know I paid for it.. Bla bla bla..)
