I thought I did this awhile ago but I guess I must have forgotten. I am Jen and I purchased a 2006 Hyper blue metallic MINI Cooper S in June of 2012 and I have loved every minute I spent in my car since then. I am about to start making upgrades to the exhaust for this summer and I can't wait until boxes start arriving

I will try to make a thread of my adventures of ripping my mini apart and putting her back together this time making her stronger because "we have the technology"

See you out on the curves "miniacs"

Jen

I will be taking TONS of pics so I can share with others but mostly so I know how to put my car back together once I have it all apart. For now I have planned to put on an Alta CAI, Alta 15% supercharger pulley (might be adding a 2% overdrive pulley in the future for more power gain), Scorpion Sport Manifold, and Scorpion exhaust. I am also planning on servicing my supercharger and putting some fresh oil in it now that my mini is up over 111,000 miles or so. Also a see a dyno tune in my near future. I'm sure the manifold will through up some major engine codes. Lol I would consider doing a flash tune but I can't find a reasonable price on a flash tuner for a Mini.

Hey Jen!! Welcome! I bought mine in June last year also and am finally starting to do some mods. It's addicting and seeing boxes come in makes if feel like Christmas all over! I saw you are wanting an Alta CAI. If you're interested, I have one for sale. I need to post it here and with pics. It has an extra filter also.

Thanks for the offer roseyposey but my CAI will be here this afternoon...I am impatiently waiting on UPS right now. I would love to be able to install it before I head to work this afternoon. But I am sure you will have no problem getting rid of your Alta CAI. They are super popular among miniacs.

Welcome Jen! It's a great feeling to modify, take apart and put back together and then drive! Enjoy your S and looking forward to the build threads!
