I have a coolant leak in my 2003 Mini Cooper. I have traced it to the hose behind the radiator. Is is possible there could be a hole in the hose ? I was told that usual does not happen. But I am a female.

First welcome aboard. Yes that can happen. It can be a pinhole in the radiator end cap as well. Those are prone to issues. Take a picture if you can and maybe we can pinpoint it for you.

A picture would be great and welcome to NAM! Here's a shot of the lower hose where it attaches to the lower part of the radiator - is this the area your leak may be coming from?

Leak in the 2003 Mini Cooper fixed and like new. Cudos to a great mechanic. Radiator held pressure. Water pump had a piece fall off of it. Replaced the water pump as well as the thermostat and housing. We are back on the road!!!
