Hey All! I am finally a Mini owner! Waited too many years for the time to be right, and like they were reading my mind...here comes the 4 door Countryman with enough room for 2 carseats for the grandkids! I am called Yaya by the babies, so my "baby" is affectionately called Miniyaya! She is a 2013 Brilliant Copper/ Black all 4 countryman, anthracite wheels, 6 speed manual of course . She's a beauty and as soon as the New Jersey weather cooperates I will post her pic for all to see. Glad to be here with the rest of you miniacs!

thanks for the welcome! Sun is actually shining today so maybe I can get a few decent pics of her to satisfy all the non-believers, lol. As for the "story"...I've been a lover of the classic mini's forever, but not being able to convince the old man that we needed one, drove big 4x4 trucks that fit all the kids and their essentials. The trucks were also needed to get me to work during our highly unpredictable Northeast winters. By the time the 'new' minis found their way across the pond i was obsessed. I could build a new mini faster than anyone on the website, lol. Now with the "big" mini having all wheel drive, the old man was curious. when the neighbor traded her cooper for a countryman, he realized i was right all along . And being the bestest old man, he actually bought me my "miniyaya" for Christmas. Now he wants to drive it to work so he can save on gas . I told him to get his own.
