Picked up a 2007 mcs Friday. Took it for a drive this weekend and already has check engine/half power light on. Has no codes and runs ok, hope its not going to be a money pit car. Taking back to dealer on Monday. This forum looks good, I have found a ton of info on the site so far.

Hi and welcome! Would not surprise me if its the O2 sensor(s). MINIMotherFigure has hers go - painless fix. Beware of stealer prices for a Bosch part.

 

Looks like it was a turbo pressure sensor. Runs good again, now I just need to fix oil filter housing leak

 

Does not sound hard. How is the SH (service history)?

 

SH looks to have been good. Engine is very clean, inside and out. I did get me a full blown diagnostic computer to use on this car and others. No more waiting at the dealer for those non-obd codes!
