New Mini in Colorado
New Mini in Colorado
Hello
]I purchased my new 2012 pw base at the end of October and joined the forum shortly after. I’ve been lurking around here for quite some time before I bought the car and I would like to say thanks to the members here for providing such great information, as well as entertaining reading and great images of all things Mini.
I was looking for a commuter car (have the family car and ¾ ton 4x4) and have always wanted a Mini. When I was growing up my dad had a shop out back and he restored English sports cars. Once I was old enough to drive we had a pretty sweet deal. He would find a car, I would buy it, then when he was ready for the car he would buy it from me and I was on to the next car. For the most part it was great because I got to own/drive a lot of great cars but the down side was that they always needed something, body work, torn seats, top, etc. I had more MGBs than anything but did have a few Triumphs, Sun Beams, Austin Healy’s, etc. All in all it was great fun and it has lead me to my new purchase.
Love this car so far and I hope to get many years of service out of it.
Just wanted to stop buy and say hello and thanks.
Keep the rubber side down!
