New kid on the block.
Hello everybody, my names Nate and I'm in love with Mini! I got my first car a few months back and I fortunate enough for it to be Mini Cooper. I loved these cars since I first saw the original Italian Job, and I recently learned my father owned the classic mini as his first car.

Sadly enough it is an automatic, but that doesn't make it any less of a car. I plan on getting a manual Cooper or Impreza (we love Subaru too) when I'm in college anyways. So far I've already gotten one ticket for speeding, so I'm learning to control myself a lot more since I don't want to lose this car.
I do want to upgrade it though. Power is the last thing it needs though in my eyes. I care a lot about aesthetics and want to give it a unique look. Thanks to its previos owner, its already got what it really needs though. A new set of tyres! His previos owner was a big part of your community I believe. His screen name is fishbon3 I believe. I will say there are a few things I really want to add:
roof graphic
a bra for the bonnet
a ligt bar
sway bars
a rear seat delete kit
possibly a pulley (it sounds too good to be true but power isn't what I need)
and a few little bits and bobs like a-panel graphics and badges

I might autocross it next summer, but at the moment it stays in the garage as much as possible due to the snow here in Nebraska. There is one little problem though. The exhaust is rusting!

I don't know what to do. If I need to change the whole exhaust I might as well get a miltek system or something of the sort, right? I dont know
It's already become a money pit, but I love the car too much to complain!
Any-who, thanks for the awesome forum, and I look forward to talking to you all!
