I've seen you guys driving around in those Minis and I finally got a real itch. So... yesterday I bought an 03 Mini, 5-speed. I drove it from Dallas, TX to Oklahoma City and used less than 1/2 tank. That was refreshing. The car needs a few things, but seems to be pretty solid. I'm looking forward to learning more. Will start today by getting a service manual and will do an oil change, replace fluids, check tranny fluid, etc.

Welcome to the club! The only thing that you will regret is that your face will hurt when you drive it from smiling so much! Drive the wheels of it and enjoy!

Also, just as a precaution, check the spark plugs and that they are fully snugged up. It is a simple check to perform and very worthwhile.

Congrats is that lightning blue metallic ? Wife and i each have one that color. Gas mileage is awesome. Ride is even better.
