New R50 owner
Hello forum, new R50 owner. Bought a 2004 Peper White R50 last night for my wife. High milage little bird but well looked after and in very good condition. Look forward to doing a few mods to it as well as going to a few meets from here. Also will be posting a few how to threads along the way to help encourage the less technical people take on mods and standard
service. Did service today and discover a nasty cabin air filter. So replace it and used a little BG Frigi-Fresh on the system.

Congrats on the new car.
When i hear of a neglected cabin filter, i often wonder if the inspection2 was done....or just skipped and oil changs done....i'd look around for things like overdue radiator fluid changes and brake fluid flushes that are due....

Oh yes it has a clear bill of health. When it was traded in I knew I was buying it so I wouldn't allow anyone touch it but me, I wanted to do the MPI to see its true condition (I work at a ultra-luxury English car dealer it just happen this Mini wondered in). One of my up coming right ups will be a rotor and pad change, its not in dire need but I am going ahead with the install. The vehicle was maintained by a Euro shop all its life.
I will be doing write ups on my cv rebuild, lighting wiring, headliner recover and suspension refresh as well.
