3rd Mini but new member here!

I've been a long time lurker here but only recently signed up for an account. Going on my third Mini I’d say I have a bit of catching up to do.

My first Mini was a 2007 R56 which I managed to flip during rush hour traffic and slide on my windshield/nose for about 50 yards or so. A large truck lost its spare in front of me and didn't have the time or the room to maneuver out of the way. My sister and I crawled out, after the very noisy ride, a bit rattled but otherwise completely unscathed. Here's a few pictures of the ordeal for those interested: http://imgur.com/a/my9is#0

A few days later I picked up my 2011 Chili Red S. Unfortunately due to the sudden need for a car I didn't have time to order one. But, things worked out well. The new cooper had enough of the features I was hoping for and I've enjoyed it even more than the previous one.

Then, a few weeks ago I got the bug to hit up the Mini dealership and see what they had available, just to poke around with no real intention of buying anything. Noticed a coupe on the lot and fell in love with the quirky style. And after playing around a bit with the online config tool, I decided that the only way I’d trade my ’11 in would be if I sprung for the JCW and got it the way I wanted.

So, here I sit; Waiting on pins and needles for at least a confirmed production date for my shiny new JCW. Something tells me these next few weeks are going to be harder than I thought.

JCW Coupe... sweeeeeeeeeeeet. I've owned and co-owned five MINIs to date and #6 is going to be the JCW Coupe. I drool over it in my brain every single day. Looks like I'm going to have to wait a while... my 16 y/o is not mastering the manual transmission so going to have to hang onto my SUV longer than I anticipated.

Congrats on your purchase and I can't wait to see it !!
