Hello everyone. I've been hanging around for a little bit now and figured I should finally post something. I've had my Mini, a 2007 BRG Cooper S, for a few months now and I love it. As the title suggests this is my first car, though I've been driving for 5 years (which makes me 20).

A little about myself. I live in Phoenix, AZ. I am a college student studying computer systems engineering. I enjoy various extreme sports and currently its wakeboard season! I also love computers (obviously) and was definitely one of those kids who grew up taking things apart and putting them back together. Ironically growing up I was really into the import tuner scene and JDM cars. I dreamed of owning one and always thought I would have something like that as my first car. Fortunately the Mini appears to be a reasonable platform for modification and I look forward to making it mine.

I've never really been a forum person but something about this site just struck me and now I find myself on here several times a day. I'm glad to be here and hopefully I'll be around a while.

congrats! it's always nice to hear about others in their early 20's with MINIs that appreciate them. I feel like most of the really young people that have them don't really know anything about them (or care which is way worse).
