Hello everyone,

I placed an order for my first MINI just a few weeks ago. Found NAM while trying to decide on all of the details. What a great forum.

I've ordered a 2013 MCS with manual transmission, British Racing Green II, front and rear fog lights*, H/K stereo upgrade and 17" wheels. Went with Polar Beige on the door panels and color line. Just wanted to break up the "all black" look some. Didn't add any packages as I am mainly focused on driving. And the dealer (South Bay MINI here is sunny California) will be adding white racing stripes to the front and rear when "Smirk Jr." arrives (hopefully) mid September.

*Not too much fog here in Southern California but my last two rides were destroyed when someone ran red lights. I figure the more light, the better.

My wife's first question when I mentioned looking at MINI's was "will our great dane / pit bull mix fit in the back seat?" I didn't bring him to the dealership but we are pretty sure he can squeeze in with our other two.

I debated a great deal over color options.

Now the waiting will kill you. Good luck with it when it arrives. Mine has been the most fun in a car that I have ever had. I smile everytime I turn the key. Make sure to post some pics.
