Omg I have a mini thought I would have to wait 20 30 years before I could buy a broken down one to restore then local Ford dealership had a 2003 red s fully loaded with only 50k on it after driving my 66 bug with over 600k on it I thought I would treat myself .I was tired of working on it and our summers in Az lake havasu was getting to me .Iam a little scared at how much work I need to do allready can't get use to the dead spot from stop to go traffic its driveing me crazy I also didn't find this sight till it was to late I bought o2 sensors from autozone and now have ses light will have to buy another set of oem ones Errrrrrr Dang it ran me close to 200 for the wrong ones which I have been talking to my local autozone about it with no luck .thinking of doing ecu upgrade around 350 to see if that will help with the falling on its face on take off I hate the fact I look like I have never driven a stick when I drive this car the lag is killing me and could get me killed ,I did a tune up ie wires and plugs seemed to help a slite bit of the motor shakeing seems little better ,also went threw car and the shock bushing on the belt tentioner is gone .just ordered the tool to change belt etc might find what pully is makeing a bearing noise ,also thinking of doing a 15 pully on sc but was wondering about mph change of that .my mini is geting 20 mph if Iam very strict on my driving costing a/c off when I can which made me upset when I first looked into this vehicle found average mph was 26/32 I have to work hard to get 20 i justified buying car with the better mph in mind but with geting the same as my bug I just might park the mini after summer and just drive the bug I would be able to live with around 26 would be great will have to work on why its shaking .I do love the car so fun the seats and dash lay out is great I have now washed my car 3 times lol to most might sound wierd but I washed my bug once when I bought it 25 years ago and a second time when I painted it to look like a m/m race car ,so I must love the mini allready .
