Hi, I'm new here!

So here I am on this site after googling lots of questions and finding most of my answers here, so I decided to join.
I have two issues:
1) I'm not that happy with my Mini CM ; and
2) I looked in the CM parts for sale and the bulk of the items are not for a CM. Am I missing something?
Thanks everyone, Veronica

For help on issues with your CM, details are needed to get specific answers to questions. If something is not working correctly or there's something you don't understand about it , I'll bet there's somebody out there with the same experience who can chime in with some help.
The CM has been on the market for only a short time, Gen 1 MINIs for 10 years. It will take a while for CM stuff to catch up both used and aftermarket.
MINIs by their nature are a little quirky. They are not your everyday made for the masses utility iron. Most MINI people accept these li'l guys for what they are and enjoy the most unique motoring experience. There are a couple of things about ours that drive me nuts but I can overlook those foibles and enjoy the open road with the wind in my hair.

I know they are quirky little cars that just need to be loved, but I miss my "conveniences"... I definitely miss my height adjustable seat belts, true delay wipers, an automatic starter, etc. It's definitely not a car for comfort or convenience...it's a car for looks and speed - but I do admit it's FUN to drive. Not sure if I would buy another one after my experience with this one. Nothing is convenient to reach, there is no storage, etc. Overall, it's just not comfortable or convenient... it's CUTE... but that's about it. I don't mean to be a mini-basher.... I'm just disappointed and I feel whiny lol.

That's OK. That is why cars come in more that one color and there are more than 1 radio station. MINIs aren't for everybody. For the things you want, a soccer mom van may be the answer. Whiny is OK too for a little while. As far as comfort is concerned, longest cross country to date was 14 hours with no feeling of fatigue, coulda gone further but the garage loomed large in the windshield. Drove my M-I-L's big Buick on a 2 hour jaunt and by the time I got back, my back was screeeming.
