Hi from the Bluegrass

Wanted to say Hi!
I'm a total noob to MINI but a long time auto enthusiast. My wife and I are expecting to take delivery in the next few weeks. Our baby has been loaded on the MEDEA and has set sail, due to be in Baltimore on July 5.
MCS -BRG II Blk top, bonnet stripes, silver conical 17" spokes, sport and cold weather pkgs.
While I've ALWAYS been excited about any rolling stock I've owned, this is the first time my wife has been truely excited about any vehicle. We can't wait to get our baby home!

We're in Louisville. You? (I'm presuming the Lex area)
Looking forward to some drives. Anything I should be looking for? I'm a member of the Bluegrass Bimmers and we do a couple a year with the club but always looking for opportunities. One of the many great things about being in the bluegrass is the countless number of great roads.

It looks like there is a fun drive coming up on July 21.

Thanks for the heads up Little Wing!
Will definitely post pics.
Re: color, (or is it colour?)The boss had pretty much decided she wanted Pepper White, which is one of my favs (like there is a bad color?) but our dealer gave us a BRG to take home for the weekend for the final push to commit to the purchase. The more we looked at it and tooled around in it, the more convinced we were it was our color. Also, we rarely see BRG and while we don't make any special effort to stand out in a crowd, we didn't see any harm in breaking out of the pack a little either.
