Discouraged by 'MINI' issues...

Hello all!
I have an 09 copper s - 59kmiles... And 1001 issues! Started off with a bolt coming loose on my timing chain tensioner-- 400$ repair-- now the ac isn't working-- recharged it crossing my fingers it lasts a bit.. Although I hear a 'hissing' sound now coming from the front grill area... now to top it All they (dealership) found an oil leak coming from my oil filter housing unit- stationary end... 1200$ repair! Help!!! I'm so frustrated and am holding off on the housing repair due to $$.. Hoping to find a mechanic with a better lookin estimate. Thanks for letting me vent! Any sugg appreciated!

Look around, there are a surprising number of Mini specialists around the country. The parts aren't cheap, but sometimes it doesn't need the part!

Sorry for the string of bad luck. I agree find an independent mechanic.
