Just purchased my first Mini, an 2009 S from Beverly Hills, CA. Pedigree it has.
The car has just over 13k in mileage. Sport package, black 17" and other fun stuff. 6 spd with no sunroof. Can't wait to cruise around the island . My other car is a '71 BMW 2002. Cheers, Jim Davis

Glad to hear you got your MINI pilot license (for fun)! Welcome to the club! Great mileage for a used '09! Have you had a chance to motor around Redwood Road at Upper San Leandro Reservoir yet coming up from the south? take the spur off to Pinehurst... lots of really fun twisties up there (provided you hit it early enough not to get stuck behind a bunch of motor homes). The last time I drove it when I lived there for a spell in "Planet LA" I recall it was a blast.

Thanks for the warm welcome!! I'm totally impressed by the way you Mini Pilots personalized your Minis as an extension of yourself. Being a Mechanical Engineers my co-workers would not expect me to drive anything boring. This car totally fits my personality. Now to start adding some fun stuff
