Hey there

Hey everybody. My name is Jesse from Sacramento CA.
I'm going to UTI, and plan on taking the Mini MSAT when I graduate and thought that I'd start building up as much knowledge of Mini as possible.
I don't own one unfortunately so don't be too harsh!

Just Researched UTI and MSAT

Fascinating, did not know there was a school where one could specialize in MINI repair. It should be a great opportunity to blend mechanics, computers, and problem solving. All the best in your chosen career.

Down here, the mechanics work on only Mini's and the others work on all other BMW's. So, a reg. BMW dealership in Mobile, Alabama won't work on Mini's, I have to go the Mini of Pensacola. But Mini of P'Cola also sells reg. BMW's as well but different building. Which isn't a big deal, both are about 40 miles away. The service at the Mini dealer is great.

Im actually going to take the BMW elective at school which will move me up to a Level 3 tech (entry level is 4, master tech is 1). Then after taking the MINIstep program Ill be a level 1 MINI tech. I would be valuable at a MINI dealer, and even more at a MINI/BMW. Hopefully all works out.

Good luck to ya. A big plus is you'll be able to do all your own work on your own Mini.
