hey y'all.. I'm not a Mini owner (yet), but I'm looking at buying one. Went and test drove a 2005 MCS today that I like pretty well.. It's got 108k on it, but seems to have been well taken care of. Carfax is clean and drove good. I did notice what sounded like a ticking sound at idle, but didn't know if that's normal for these cars or not. Any tips on what to look out for? I plan on using the search button a LOT the next few days, but any advice or input would be greatly appreciated.

No I do not have a ticking sound from my engine @ idle. The power steering could be an expensive problem, hopefully a small problem. Good luck with your Mini!
