Hello everyone, my name is Howard and I was originally from Cali but moved to the eastcoast about 5 years ago. I just joined this site recently in a effort to learn more about these cool cars, and hopefully I can contribute to the forum in the future.

I'm currently on the hunt for a Cooper S, Auto (I prefer manual but wife can drive stick, but dont want to anymore).

I know "search button" is my friend but if anybody can give me a quick rundown on what to expect in terms of realiablity issues or things to watch for, it would be greatly appreciated. Looking to mod this as well so I will def be asking a lot of questions. haha

Heres what I currently drive, its dull and boring which is why a mini would be a good fit.

Kapone, that's the OEM sport kit on the E. I really like it too

 

Get an auto with paddle shifters ! There has been a recall on the S models 07 and up . Some of the coopers have caught on fire eek ! Good luck I have a 2011 cooper auto and sweet to drive ! Just a Cooper great mpg and a fun ride !
